1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MealWise, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Use of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Health Disclaimer

MealWise provides meal-planning and general wellness information for educational purposes only. It is not a medical service and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical conditions, medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, or significant diet or health changes. If you have a health condition, use MealWise alongside guidance from your doctor or registered dietitian; MealWise provides general meal-planning suggestions, not medical nutrition therapy, and its suggestions may not reflect limits or recommendations from your care team. 4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the billing period.

Web subscriptions are billed through Stripe and managed through MealWise’s Account / Subscription settings. iOS App Store subscriptions are billed through your Apple account. Apple supplies the applicable price and billing period before purchase. MealWise does not currently offer a free trial or introductory offer for App Store subscriptions. Manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MealWise). Deleting your MealWise account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription. The iOS app uses Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (e.g. profile data, meal logs). You grant us a limited license to process this content solely to operate and improve the service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, including reverse engineering, scraping, abusing automated features, or using MealWise for unlawful purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, software, and content provided by MealWise are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MealWise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, unless otherwise required by mandatory local consumer protection laws.
